The NHS App

The NHS app is a smartphone application available for both iPhones and Android phones.

It’s owned and run by the NHS and free to download and use.

The app allows you to interact with your GP practice directly, including reordering repeat prescriptions, consulting with your GP online, booking and managing appointments, and viewing your health records.

You can also access health and medication advice, check your symptoms through NHS 111, and manage your organ donation and data-sharing preferences.

Getting the NHS App

The NHS App is available on iOS and Android. To use it you must be aged 13 or over and registered with a GP surgery in England. Find out more about who can use the NHS App.
