That is why we want to tell you about local community mental health support provided by Everyturn Mental Health.
What is the service?
This service offers simple, practical support for people living in Newcastle.
It focuses on you as a whole person – not just your symptoms.
You will get help to feel more in control, more connected, and more supported.
How can it help?
A trained worker will listen and work with you. Many of the Everyturn team have lived-experience of mental health issues.
They can help you to:
- Find the right support
- Join local groups or activities
- Build confidence
- Improve your wellbeing
Support is friendly, flexible, and based on what matters to you.

This service may help if you:
- Feel low, anxious, or stressed
- Feel alone or isolated
- Want help to get back into your community
How to get support
You can refer yourself – or someone you are helping – directly to Everyturn. You don’t need to see a GP first.
Go to the Everyturn website, enter your GP practice’s postcode and start your self-referral.
