Your Enhanced Access Contraceptive Implant Appointment
Enhanced Access is the name for the extra evening and weekend appointments provided for patients of Gosforth and Jesmond Health, and our neighbouring practices in Gosforth and Jesmond Health.
Your Appointment
When you arrive, please speak to the Receptionist on duty. They will be happy to check you in for your appointment.
You will be called through when your clinician is ready to see you.
There is a waiting room and toilet facilities.
Before Your Appointment
- If you are attending for an implant FIT please ensure you bring your implant with you on the day, or it will not be able to be fitted.
- Please continue your current method of contraception until the day of the clinic.
- Please let the doctor know about any medication you are taking and if you have any allergies.

Cancellation
If you need to cancel your scheduled appointment, please do so as early as possible so the slot can be made available to another patient.
During our standard opening hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) please call us directly on to cancel.
For last-minute cancellations when this practice is closed, call 07523 756159.

Parking
If you are driving to your appointment, please leave enough time to find a parking space and make your way to 200 Osborne Road.
Please note there is no on-site parking at 200 Osborne Road, but you can park in the surrounding streets.
The map shows unrestricted parking in green on Osborne Road, Mitchel Avenue, and North Jesmond Avenue.
Time-limited parking is shown in orange on Lyndhurst Avenue, Myrtle Grove and Lonsdale Terrace.
